Two Saturdays back, we spent our morning sitting in front of a perfect view of Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa and the motionless lake. We were in for breakfast at Serafina, an American Italian restaurant, located at a prime spot in Souk al Bahar.
The interiors of Serafina is pretty and cozy. The first thing I noticed is the wall art that spells LOVE in henna-decorated hands.
But the view outside has won as over so we opted to dine al fresco.
The server handed us the breakfast menu and told us about their ongoing “marketing strategy” (at that time) where you get to pay your meal based on what you think it’s worth. But you have to pay the real cost for the drinks.
So we went over the menu and requested for café latte for boyf and hot chocolate for the coffee intolerant that is me. :p
We also asked for English Breakfast (eggs with grilled sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms, grilled tomato and whole wheat bread) because I like my breakfast heavy
– and Eggs Benedict (muffin topped with smoked salmon and Hollandaise sauce) which I love love love the most to the point that I thought of having another serving. The taste is just so equally as good as it looks. Yummmeeehhh!!
What a way to start the morning!
